So, it's 4:40pm right now. I'm waiting another 20 minutes then I'll go home to my wife who is currently waiting for me. I'm tired. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. All of em. Not in this order. I'm writing this blog while listening to Trailer Park Boys: Park After Dark through my headphones. It's a podcast between 3 dudes from Canada. If I'm going to explain about Trailer Park Boys, then it'll be opening a can of worms now. So, I'm not gonna explain it here. Just search on them on Google. It'll be fucking fantastic. I promise you that.
Well, my wife is going to make spaghetti bolognese today for breaking fast. It's Ramadhan by the way. I'm in charge of the drinks for today. It's just Berries flavored Ballygowan mix with Ribena. It's good but not great. It's okay... rather than drinking Coke every day during Ramadhan. So, spaghetti bolognese. It's going to be good! I'm hungry right now just thinking about it. For late night munchies, we're having cookies and chocolate bar. It's a perfect combination for sweetness at night.
That's been my whole Ramadhan routine this year. Work. Go home. My wife will prepare meals or order takeouts. Maghrib(sundown) comes. Break our fast. Relax. Play video games. Watch Netflix and enjoy munchies. My mum usually calls around 10.30pm because she'll be up for sahoor in Malaysia. End call. Play video games for 30 minutes. Watch one episode of Trailer Park Boys. Go to bed. The whole paragraph is the same routine for every day during Ramadhan.
Today is the 21st day of Ramadhan and it's 9 days left. Then it'll be Eid. We haven't prepare anything for Eid this year. It's the 1st year I'm going to celebrate Eid as a married couple and I'm here in Ireland. Fantastic. Next year, I promise myself, I'll celebrate Eid in Malaysia with our family. For now, I'm just waiting. Waiting for what? Who knows. Just waiting.
