Before I Forget

Hi. I'm still here. Not going anywhere yet. Last couple of months, it's been hectic for me. Starting December until last month. Busy with work. Busy with life. Busy with my immigration appointments (that I'm still waiting until now).     So before I forget, let me tell you an interesting story and adventure of me and my wife and my friend and his wife, travelling in Italy. I will not tell you the story right now but I will... in a few weeks time. I think. Right now, I'm in the fabrication floor (production floor for semiconductors) writing this blog, just to tell you that I'm still here. I'm still in Ireland. Cool. Bye for now.

Winter

Hello. Hi. How're things?     Winter. As titled. A shitty weather for the end of the year and the start of next year. Been in a place where only seasons are climactic season which means either it's hot or rainy days. That's all. Now I'm in a place where there are four seasons, and I hate winter the most. Spring was the best 2 weeks season of the year. Then, came Summer, the warmest season of the year and Autumn, the rainiest season of them all. Now it's Winter the coldest, wettest, most windy and miserable season. It was too cold for my skin. Had to wear layers and layers of clothes. Weather's unpredictable. Could be raining, could be sunny, could be gloomy. Nobody knows. Even weather forecast sometimes get it wrong.     Our house is cold during the Winter. Like supercold. This is the first time we had to live through winter by ourselves so nobody gives us any tips or what to do all sorts. So due to our house is using an old heatin...

Hobby

Hello. Welcome to my humble blog/journal. Today's topic is about hobby (as titled). Some people might have a hobby of playing sports, either badminton or hockey or rugby, anything. Some people might like reading books. Some people might have a hobby of baking. Yes that's a hobby as well. Mine are reading comics (as you all know), playing games and collecting GUNPLA (gundam plastic model). Previously I've collected a lot of Gundam before. From High Grade to Master Grade scale. Back in Malaysia, Gundam is not that expensive. RM30 to RM40 for a HG Gundam. In Ireland, I looked up on Amazon, it cost around 30EUR to 50EUR for HG Gundam. Converting the prices, it cost around RM150 for a HG Gundam. That doesn't make sense. So I stopped buying Gundams.     But then over here, new comic books cost around 15EUR to 20EUR each. I started buying comic books. Started to read them. It's the little thing flicking through the book and finishing them that makes me like co...

Light

Hi all. Welcome to my blog/journal. I wrote stuff that is "deep" and meaningful for me in this blog (and maybe sometimes bullshit stuff). Anyway, today's post is about... let me tell you what's been happening in my days and nights.     My wife is a TikTok user. She doesn't make much videos on TikTok. She uses the app to watch videos which usually consists of meme videos, cat videos, travelling, and some snippets of tv series or movies. She's been watching the snippets of The Walking Dead. Suddenly, she asked me if I have ever watch the show. If I ever watched The Walking Dead? Me? Finally, I can bring her to my world. To my childhood. (Yes, the shows aired when I was 13 or 14 years old.) This show was the show I grew up loving. Years back, there's no Netflix stream service, there's no Disney Hotstar, no Amazon Prime Video. I watched the show by waiting every in front of my tv through AXN channel. The first season made me fell in love with the sho...

What's Next

Hello. This post. This is the post that I'm going to share to you something about me. Something that is considered to my friends that defines me. Something that some of my friend took/take on as a challenge or as a guidance. It's something that I never know I had and it was pointed out by one of my dearest friend, Hafidz (Pak Din).     I am what people call a risk taker, sometimes. I hate being in a rut. I hate constant feeling of just there, not moving anywhere. I'm always think of what's next. For an example, when I was 22 years of age (2019), nearly finished my degree, I think to myself, "Okay after getting my bachelor's degree, what's next?" Got a internship at Silterra. Nearly finished my internship, "What's next?" Got a permanent job, same place. "Okay then, what's next?" Got married. After that, supposedly, the plan was to furnished my rental house and make it liveable. Then, buy a house somewhere in Kulim or my h...

Silence

Hello.     This post is mainly about my feeling. This is not a normal post where I post things that came to my mind and write this post blindly. This post is about me having a slight depressed moment. A few days back, exactly like two weeks back, my parents came to Ireland. I was so happy that they decided to come to Ireland just to visit me and my wife. It was great. They stayed in Ireland for a week. In the morning, I would go to work and couldn't to get back home to see my parents. The house was lively. My father would crack jokes (about me), me mum would walked in the kitchen and talked with us. Irfan and Siti would joined in and have a chat. The house was never that alive. It was great. I brought my parents around the city, brought them to the shopping centre near our house. Get to bring them to some of my favourite places to eat in Limerick (which is not a lot). At night, I would go into my mum's room and have a chat with her. Asking about my rel...

9th September 2023

Hello. How are ya? It's the time for updating my blog as I'm waiting for work to be in process. As I'm updating this, my keyboard makes sound and my boss would think that I'm doing my job or anything. Which means good stuff. So, last weekend. What happened last weekend? It was my wife's birthday and you know me, trying to be the best husband. I brought her to London. We arrived in London somewhere around 10pm and we bought KFC (the only Halal KFC near Ireland is in London or Scotland) for dinner and we went straight to our hotel. We stayed somewhere in the middle of Hackney (which is a dangerous place to stay which now I know). The hotel is convenient enough and close to Overground Hackney Central station which was pretty neat but the area was not worth it. That area is pretty shady and pretty dangerous. I won't recommend staying there though.     The 2nd day (9th September 2023), both of us woke up around 9am (rarely I woke up at 9 on offdays) t...
